ChewByNumbers initially launched in November 2005 offering 3 kits for all to enjoy. These initial kits have been widely distributed and reviewed but they are being discontinued and replaced by new designs. The new kits have several improvements including new designs, more detailed instructions, and more gum. The popular "Tulips" kit has been redesigned with a new color scheme, and relaunched as "Red Tulips".

A limited edition art series of the "Tulips" and "Space and Comet" kits below are available. These kits have been completed by artist Jamie Marraccini, signed, numbered, and framed.
